Chief Marketing Officer – Part-Time Contract (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the go-to-market strategy for an embedded RPO and AI consultancy. This part-time contract role involves working directly with the founder to design and execute a market entry plan, establish brand positioning, and create scalable growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing leadership for technology, consultancy, or AI-driven businesses and will bring both strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for the consultancy, ensuring strong positioning in a competitive market.
• Define and refine brand messaging, value proposition, and differentiation for target audiences.
• Lead demand generation strategies including digital marketing, partnerships, PR, and thought leadership.
• Establish key marketing metrics and reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Support business development through marketing assets, sales enablement, and client acquisition strategies.
• Identify strategic growth opportunities and advise on long-term brand development.
• Work closely with the founder to align marketing objectives with overall business goals.

Skills and Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior marketing leadership roles, ideally as CMO, VP of Marketing, or similar within technology, consultancy, or AI sectors.
• Demonstrated success in building and executing go-to-market strategies for startups or early-stage ventures.
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and demand generation.
• Proven ability to craft compelling messaging for consultancy and technology services.
• Excellent strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution skills.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities in a remote-first environment.
• Ability to work on a part-time contract basis with flexible availability.
