Thanks to Turpal, travel companies (tour operators, travel agents, OTAs, and destination management companies among others) boost their revenues (increase direct sales, boost up/cross-selling) while offering an improved experience to their travelers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a SEO/SEM (Customer Marketing) at Turpal, your primary focus will be on developing and executing effective strategies to enhance our customers' digital presence, with a strong emphasis on SEO and SEM. The role is versatile and includes contributing to social media and content strategies as needed. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated expertise in these areas and can also act as a strategic consultant to Turpal's clients.
Please note: This is an individual contributor role, NOT a managerial-level position.
Duties:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer needs, goals, and market context using a structured approach.
- Develop and execute customized digital marketing strategies tailored to each client.
- Manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including social media, Google Ads, blogs, and industry publications.
- Plan, create, and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content delivery.
- Oversee paid media campaigns, manage budgets, and provide regular updates on performance and spending.
- Analyze campaign results and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices to enhance search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and market research to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, including blogs and landing pages, to align with SEO strategies.
- Track and report website and campaign performance using analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure websites remain optimized for search engines and digital marketing trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with customers in an agency environment and managing multiple accounts.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing successful SEO and SEM strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram/Twitter Ads, and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Strong background in content creation and optimization for SEO.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- A startup mindset with adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments.
