We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and strategic Marketing and Social Media Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis. You’ll help implement and execute marketing strategies for a variety of clients (many of which are charities and faith-based organizations), focusing on content creation, digital advertising, and account management. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team but work independently to deliver strong results.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Setup and Account Management
- Create and configure new social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Set up profile information, branding elements, and account settings
- Optimize accounts for visibility and engagement
- Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares, etc.) and provide monthly performance reports
- Respond to comments and direct messages to help build community and maintain a consistent brand voice
Strategy and Planning
- Identify key objectives and help shape the brand narrative for each client
- Develop audience profiles and personas
- Recommend platforms, channels, and outreach strategies based on client goals
- Assist with marketing budget planning and allocation
- Create a content calendar and overall social media/content strategy
Content Creation and Copywriting
- Design and develop two social media posts per week, per client (may include both static and short-form video)
- Use Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, etc.), Cap Cut, etc.
- Develop high-quality written content for various platforms, including but not limited to websites, blogs, social media, and email campaigns
Advertising and Promotion
- Research and evaluate paid advertising opportunities
- Run and optimize paid ad campaigns on: Facebook/Instagram (Meta), TikTok, Google Ads / YouTube
- Make data-informed recommendations to improve ROI
Website and Digital Asset Support
- Make light updates to client websites (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace)
- Ensure content and branding is consistent
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years direct experience required
- A self-driven individual who understands how to create content that aligns with brand tone and goals
- A creative and strategic thinker with hands-on experience creating and managing content across multiple platforms
- Strong graphic design skills and comfortable with design tools (Adobe skills highly desired)
- Proven experience in copywriting, excellent proofreading skills
- Confident running social media advertising campaigns, including setup, targeting, and optimization; strong knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
- Experienced in building and managing brand presence online
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research techniques
- Knowledge of working with and updating websites (e.g. WordPress, Squarespace)
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly
- A reliable freelancer/independent contractor (not part of or subcontracting through an agency)
