Role Summary:
We're seeking a skilled IT Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, applying PowerShell and Python code. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions across enterprise platforms, with a strong focus on Adobe services, SaaS lifecycle management, and secure API integrations.
Professional Background & Ways of Working Work environment: Join a global team of engineers within Johnson & Johnson's End-User Services (EUS) department, collaborating closely with service partners based in Europe and the US East Coast.
This role is fully remote, leveraging a virtual PC and Microsoft Teams as the primary workspace for communication and collaboration.
Language & collaboration: The person in this role needs to be fluent in English and bring experience working in large, multinational IT environments.
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years in automation engineering or related roles, with a strong track record of delivering real-world solutions across the listed technologies.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Clear, concise documentation (knowledge articles, runbooks, admin guides) and contributions to a developer-independent automation environment.
Outcome-Driven Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to translate desired outcomes into automation roadmaps, task breakdowns, and execution plans with minimal oversight.
Key Technical Skills:
Scripting & Programming: Expert in PowerShell and proficient in Python for robust automation.
API Integration: Experience with REST APis (OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Graph, Adobe Sign, Box).
Identity & Access: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), System Cross- domain Identity Management (SCIM) exposure is a plus.
Power Platform: Power Apps and Power BI dashboard creation.
Serverless Compute: AWS Lambda; Azure Functions is a bonus.
Source Control & SDLC: Bitbucket and structured document management.
ITSM & Tooling: Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, CI/CD, and secure secrets handling.
Domain Expertise
• Adobe Automation: Proven delivery for Adobe Sign and user/license management.
• SaaS Lifecycle: Deep understanding of deployment, integration, and retirement phases.
• Operational Reliability: Monitoring and improving production automation. Security & Compliance
• ISRM-aligned practices: least privilege, auditability, secure credential handling.
• Quality governance: peer reviews, documentation, and coding standards.
