As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming legacy applications into modern, user-friendly interfaces and experiences. You will be responsible for the overall design and aesthetic of application projects, ensuring that updated applications are both functional and appealing.
Information Security Responsibilities
Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the modernization team to assess existing applications and identify UX/UI challenges and opportunities.
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to propose solutions that enhance user interaction.
Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and optimize the design.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss challenges, project progress, and solutions.
Qualifications:
(Optional)Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field.
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
Strong portfolio of design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma).
Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using UX design tools and principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with user testing and usability enhancements.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
