TSG global is an international, fully remote consulting and software company that provides modern enterprise-grade cloud-based telecom solutions for voice, messaging, and identity data services to help businesses solve complex problems for clients around the world.

About The Position

This is a 6-month temporary position that could extend to full-time employment.

We are expanding our development team that is responsible for building new features and products, maintaining the existing and ensuring our services are robust, scalable, and highly available.

At the moment team is small and we are looking for Elixir software engineers who would be enthusiastic and passionate about their work, who are ready to take ownership, and who are ready to share the knowledge in their area of expertise. We may consider very strong and very enthusiastic mid-level developers with little less experience than required for the senior position, but with eagerness to learn and to grow.

This is a fully remote, full-time position with flexible working hours. We just need an overlap for meetings (usually 30-60 minutes in between 3 PM and 6 PM UTC).

This position requires an individual that understands that it’s not enough to write working code; it must also be well-designed, secure, easy to test, easy to monitor in the cloud, and easy to add to overtime. You would be empowered by amazing people to work on amazing products.

Our Work Process

Our tasks are a mixture of work on new products, developing new features on existing products, and some rewriting of current products (mostly architectural improvements). We value the contribution on the product side as well as the technical. Our team culture is very open - you will be encouraged to give feedback continuously and should be open to receiving one anytime. We like to solve issues or misunderstandings as soon as possible and discourage keeping problems to ourselves. You are welcome to challenge any existing solution and propose an improvement.

Requirements

Experience with Elixir (3+ years)
Backend development professional experience (5+ years)
Able to produce well-documented, reusable, testable code
Full proficiency in English
Willingness to work in a product-oriented, Agile environment
You are a strong collaborator - you can explain your work, you ask great questions, you listen to your peers and your customers, and you like to give and receive feedback.

Bonus points

Product-oriented development experience
Kubernetes experience
Fully remote working experience
Experience in microservices, REST and GraphQL API development
Experience in telco industry is a big plus
Frontend experience with Vue.JS or React (we have two portal like products)
Experience with SQL

Salary & Benefits

Salary and benefits will be negotiated based on the candidate’s skills and experience. The expected compensation for this position is currently $5000 per month.
