About TrophyTracks

TrophyTracks is a bootstrapped outdoor tech company built by hunters, for hunters. It started with simple advice Dan’s dad gave him years ago: "Write down what you see in the woods." We took that habit and built it into a digital hunting journal. This journal and mapping app is now used by over 10,000 hunters across North America and World Wide. We have a web and mobile application that allows hunters to save their observations, notes, harvests and images in the app. We allow hunters a way to remember their memories, while giving them the tools to be at the right spot at the right time.

Who our customer is:

Serious, ethical hunters, primarily whitetail, waterfowl, and turkey. These are the folks who spend their summers hanging stands, planting food plots, running trail cams and hunting all day.

Our non-negotiables:

Your maps, pins, and logs are 100% private. We never share your hunting locations or journals.

We’ve grown completely bootstrapped through Facebook groups, visiting outdoor shows, running sponsored ads/google and having real conversations with hunters. Now, we’re ready to bring on someone full-time to take that organic momentum into the field, on camera, and into our ad accounts.

The Role

You’ll work directly with our founding team: Dan (CEO), John (CTO) and will be the face, voice, and character the outdoor community actually trusts. You will be our boots in the woods, our presence on camera and manage our paid ad accounts.

What You’ll Own

1. Field Production & Short-Form Video (The Face & Voice)

• Shoot and edit 4 to 6 short videos a week across Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Real hunts, real stand setups, and real screen recordings of TrophyTracks solving field problems.

• Get Dan, yourself, and respected hunters on camera for quick, conversational breakdowns that talk hunter-to-hunter.

• Translate our tactical hunting blogs into engaging social carousels, threads, and community discussions.

2. In-House Paid Acquisition (Meta & Google Ads)

• Manage our Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads accounts.

• Test new video creative, manage keyword targeting, and scale our app install and web registration campaigns with tight unit economics.

3. Community, Podcasts & Outreach

• Pitch and book Dan (and yourself) on regional and national hunting podcasts.

• Engage actively in hunting forums, Reddit, and Facebook groups as a genuine contributor.

• Build relationships with respected 5K–50K micro-creators and outfitters who love the platform to drive word-of-mouth adoption.

Who You are

• You Hunt: Hunter marketer, you live the hunting calendar and enjoy making hunting content.

• You Create: You can capture crisp footage, clean audio, and edit tight, well-paced videos without needing a production crew.

• You Market: CPA, CPI, CTR, ROAS, custom audiences, and conversion tracking are bread and butter. You can read Ads Manager, spot leaks, and make informed budget decisions.

• You Own: We’re building this for hunters, and we want someone who cares deeply about the outcome. You aren't just an employee; you share directly in the growth you drive.
