Marketing and Growth Manager

Troocoo are proud to partner with an established Australian fintech business entering an exciting new phase of growth to appoint their first dedicated Marketing & Growth Manager.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead an internal marketing function from the ground up while working directly with the CEO and Senior Management Team. You'll play a key role in shaping brand positioning, driving customer acquisition and influencing the future growth strategy of a well-established business operating within the payments and financial technology sector.

About the role:

As Marketing & Growth Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy, driving customer growth, and establishing a high-performing marketing function that delivers measurable commercial outcomes.

You'll work closely with senior leadership, product and development teams to strengthen market positioning, optimise customer acquisition and retention initiatives, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives.
• Drive customer acquisition, activation, retention and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Lead brand positioning, value proposition development and market differentiation strategies.
• Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products, services and platform enhancements.
• Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, SEO, AI search and customer communications.
• Drive website optimisation and customer-facing digital experiences in partnership with internal teams.
• Partner closely with sales and customer support teams to improve lead quality, customer engagement and conversion performance.
• Monitor marketing performance, acquisition costs, campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
• Manage agency, technology and external supplier relationships.
• Present performance insights, recommendations and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
• Build and lead a scalable marketing function, establishing processes, priorities and future team capability.

About you

You're a commercially minded marketing leader who enjoys building capability, influencing strategy and driving measurable growth outcomes. You are equally comfortable working at a strategic level as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver initiatives and create momentum.

You'll be proactive, analytical and customer-focused, with a passion for identifying growth opportunities, improving performance and bringing new ideas to life. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy partnering with stakeholders across the business to achieve shared commercial objectives.

About you:

• 7+ years' experience in marketing with responsibility for strategy, budgets and performance outcomes.
• Experience leading B2B acquisition, growth and customer lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Experience within fintech, payments, SaaS or similarly complex commercial environments would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated experience building, leading or scaling marketing functions and teams.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, analytics, marketing automation and performance measurement.
• Experience developing product marketing and go-to-market strategies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and storytelling capability.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate marketing activity into business outcomes.
• A hands-on, solutions-focused leadership style.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation.
