About the Role**

TriVertex Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support automation, deployment, and optimization efforts for a critical Windows Server and IIS-based environment on a federal digital modernization project. This role will focus on building and managing CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code, and ensuring system stability and scalability in an Azure-hosted environment.

Clearance:** This position supports a federal contract and requires the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

What You'll Do**

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, supporting the entire deployment lifecycle.

• Automate provisioning and configuration management of Windows Server and IIS-based applications.

• Develop and maintain robust PowerShell scripts, ARM templates, and YAML configurations for infrastructure automation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and operational alignment.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, security, and scalability.

• Implement best practices for DevOps workflows, cloud governance, and secure deployments.

• Leverage monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights to maintain system health and observability.

• Explore and integrate automation tools like Azure Functions to streamline cloud operations.

What You Bring**

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration with a strong emphasis on Windows-based environments.

• Deep expertise in:

  • Windows Server administration

  • IIS configuration and optimization

  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and repositories

• Proficiency in:

  • PowerShell scripting, Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, YAML)

  • Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights

• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in fast-paced, high-stakes technical environments.

• Knowledge of Azure Functions or equivalent automation solutions.

• Must be based in the continental U.S.

• Experience working on federal government contracts highly desired.
