What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting comprehensive technical specifications with well-defined scope, architecture blueprints, and realistic delivery roadmaps
• Developing robust full-stack JavaScript solutions (React + Node.js) with sophisticated AI integrations that prioritize performance, maintainability, and user experience
• Implementing rapid test-deploy cycles to deliver value to users with maximum velocity
• Taking complete ownership of features from concept through deployment and beyond

Senior Software Engineer Key Responsibilities

Independently conceptualize, architect, build, and deploy a next-generation version of Legends by delivering high-quality, user-centric features that drive measurable impact.

Basic Requirements

• Demonstrated track record of delivering consumer-facing software at production scale and quality
• Deep expertise across the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly with React frontends and Node.js backends
• Practical experience implementing modern AI technologies and APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, or similar platforms)
• Strong ability to translate product requirements and UX goals into scalable, maintainable technical architecture
• Self-directed work ethic with proven capability to own complete implementation cycles independently

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Hands-on development experience with native iOS applications
• Previous work in personalization systems, content delivery platforms, or educational technology products

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
