Marketing Director

Trifecta Talent is partnering with an exciting organisation that is bringing groundbreaking change to the investment world by focusing on enabling the issuance and distribution of alternative investment funds through a fully digital tokenised infrastructure.

As a start-up, they foster an environment of ownership allowing all team members to have autonomy of their day, projects, and successes. The business is transparent by nature and this is from the top down. With offices in London and Abu Dhabi, they run initiatives to come together as a team and nurture relationships between colleagues.

Currently, a team of 20 people, they have ambitious growth plans for 2025 having secured their seed round of funding from leading investors last year. Not only are they looking to bring on board their first Marketing Director, but they are expanding across multiple business lines such as Engineering and Product, making it a great time to join a growing, and successful business.

*Note: This is a fully remote position, and the client is open to candidates based outside of the UK.

The Role

Reporting into the CEO, as the Marketing Director you will lead their brand strategy, growth initiatives, and community engagement within the dynamic blockchain industry. You will be responsible for setting and managing the marketing budget, making strategic decisions on the allocation of resources, whether it is for internal tooling, events, or PR initiatives, for example. Whilst a start-up, you will have control over the use of eternal support functions, engaging agencies, freelancers, etc. to strategically elevate their marketing efforts.

You’ll also oversee a current marketing team member who will support you in the day-to-day operations and assist across key focus areas of Marketing. As part of the leadership team, your strategic input will be instrumental in shaping their brand presence and contributing to growth.

As a key contributor and influence within the business, you’ll also play a critical role in supporting future fundraising rounds.

What They Are Looking For

• At least 5 years of marketing experience in a start-up environment.
• Experience in managing people, and providing a nurturing environment for them to be successful.
• A proven track record of ideating and executing successful marketing strategies, taking full ownership of performance, optimisation, and continuous development.
• Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and implementing new marketing tools/platforms.
• Experience leading or closely collaborating with different arms of marketing, such as: Content, SEO, PR, MarkOps, Product Marketing and Demand Gen.
• Someone who enjoys having ownership and autonomy over a department but also thrives in collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• An understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 technologies (Bonus points if you worked in a crypto or blockchain startup).
