Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Content Creator and Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging video content for a video blog aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and young professionals. This individual will play a crucial role in developing, filming, editing, and promoting video content on LinkedIn and other platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation
- Develop and curate content ideas aligned with the mission of motivating and advising women.
- Write scripts, create storyboards, and collaborate on visual content planning.
- Film, edit, and produce high-quality video content, ensuring professional production standards.
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow the video blog’s presence on LinkedIn, including posting, engagement, and audience interaction.
- Craft compelling social media posts to promote videos and generate audience discussion.
- Utilize analytics tools to track performance and optimize content strategy.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Shabana Siraj to align on vision, topics, and formats for each video.
- Coordinate with guest speakers or interviewees as needed for collaborative content.
Community Engagement
- Foster a supportive online community by engaging with viewers through comments and feedback.
- Organize and facilitate live discussions or Q&A sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in video production and editing (knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in women empowerment or entrepreneurship is a plus.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and motivating others.
Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software and camera equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content marketing strategies and social media analytics.
