About the Role

Fintech in India is full of apps designed to make people trade more. We're building the opposite — a product that helps Affluent Investors make fewer, better decisions. As our Product Designer, you'll own the design function end to end: research, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and the design system underneath it all. You won't be executing someone else's vision — you'll be defining how trust-first investing looks and feels.

What You'll Do

-Own UI/UX design across the Trend Money app and web — from wireframes and user flows to polished, shippable screens

-Lead UX research: user interviews, interaction surveys, and usability testing with real HNI investors
Turn research into product decisions — you'll sit in on product calls, not just receive tickets

-Build and maintain our design system for consistency as we scale

-Take on other design and product requirements as the company grows

Must Have

-1–3 years of product design experience with shipped work (fintech or consumer apps preferred)
Strong Figma proficiency — components, prototypes, design systems

-A portfolio demonstrating both craft (clean UI) and thinking (research-backed decisions)

-Ability to run user research independently and defend design choices with evidence

-Comfort with ambiguity — you'll often be the only designer in the room

Nice to Have

-Experience designing for financial products (investing, wealth, banking)

-Understanding of SEBI RIA communication constraints on financial UI (disclaimers, risk disclosures)

-Basic motion/interaction design skills
Familiarity with front-end handoff (developer collaboration, design tokens)
