About Us
We operate a network of niche marketplaces and directories in the secondhand goods space (estate sales, yard sales, garage sales, and vintage/antique listings) — visited by millions annually. Our mission is to grow users, listings, revenue, and engagement by improving the tools we offer sellers and buyers alike.
We’re lean, fast-moving, and deeply hands-on — and we’re looking for someone equally versatile and driven to own execution from product vision to development delivery.
About the Role
This is not your typical product manager role. You’ll lead cross-functional projects, define how products should work, coordinate with developers, and make sure everything ships on time, bug-free, and aligned with business goals.
You’ll take high-level ideas — like “we need a new lead-gen form for people looking to hire an estate sale company” or “optimize our item listing funnel” — and turn them into wireframes, specs, QA-tested builds, and shipped features.
We’re looking for someone who loves clarity, autonomy, structure, and is equally comfortable writing tickets, sketching out a flow in Figma, or hopping on Slack to unblock a developer.
Responsibilities
- Translate business goals into detailed functional specs, wireframes, and product briefs
- Define and manage milestones, timelines, and priorities across multiple projects
- Lead weekly sprints and track developer progress with minimal hand-holding
- Conduct QA testing to ensure feature completeness and eliminate regressions
- Scope and roadmap enhancements to our core marketplace platforms
- Own cross-functional coordination with design, engineering, and leadership
- Help shape our monetization roadmap, feature rollout calendar, and experimentation pipeline
- Track KPIs across listings, revenue, conversions, and engagement to guide improvements
What You’ll Bring
- 3–7 years of experience in product management, UX design, or technical project leadership
- A past life in coding, engineering, or front-end development (you don’t have to code now, but you understand how the machine works)
- Experience designing wireframes, specs, and product docs — ideally in Figma, Balsamiq, or similar
- Hands-on QA habits: you test before signing off and aren’t afraid to get into browser dev tools
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- A bias for clarity, speed, and getting things done
- Comfortable working in a small team where you own the full product lifecycle
- Marketplace or classifieds experience is a huge plus
Bonus Skills
- Light coding (HTML/CSS/JS, PHP or Laravel familiarity)
- Ad performance, monetization, or SEO familiarity
- Analytics experience (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel, SQL)
- Experience in estate liquidation, auctions, or peer-to-peer commerce
- Design system or design ops experience
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- You’ll work directly with the founder and make decisions that shape the business
- You’ll operate at the center of product, engineering, and growth
- No bureaucratic nonsense. Just ideas, shipping, testing, and learning
- A mission-driven team that values craft, curiosity, and outcomes
How to Apply
Send a short intro email and samples of:
- Wireframes or specs you’ve created
- Projects you’ve owned (and how they performed)
- Anything that shows your ability to turn ideas into shipped results
