About The Role
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies specifically tailored for the African market, ensuring alignment with global objectives
- Oversee and grow the marketing team, identifying new revenue opportunities and managing consistent growth within the African market
- Identify budgetary requirements and manage an annual marketing budget, ensuring ROI projections are met through strategic allocation of resources
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Direct the activities of the marketing team, covering digital marketing, offline marketing, social media, SEO, and promotional campaigns
- Devise and analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies
- Innovate and implement cutting-edge marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market penetration in Africa
- Explore opportunities to connect with new market segments and expand overall market share
- Manage and strengthen the company's presence on various social media platforms relevant to the African demographic
- Coordinate with the marketing team to set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives (OKRs) on a quarterly basis
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles targeting the African market
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in the financial technology sector
- Deep understanding of marketing technology and trends specific to the African market
- Experienced in using analytical tools for measuring campaign performance and driving actionable insights
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
