About The Role

We are seeking a Director of Marketing & Growth to lead our growth engine and expand our marketing function.

This role is perfect for a senior performance-marketing leader stepping into their first full-spectrum director position. You'll own the acquisition and growth strategy, drive measurable ROI, and oversee continuous growth, while advising Product on how marketing and growth can shape the roadmap. You'll be both strategic and hands-on: managing budgets, testing new channels, mentoring specialists, and building the foundation for scalable marketing. As we grow, you'll grow.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Acquisition

  • Own SEM as a core growth driver, complemented by paid social, affiliates, and emerging channels.
  • Manage large-scale Google Ads and search campaigns across multiple brands and geographies.
  • Manage and optimize multi-million-dollar acquisition budgets with a relentless ROI focus.
  • Identify and scale new growth levers others may overlook.
  • Interface with analytics and attribution to know who is doing what, how often, and how to scale.

Brand & Positioning

  • Establish and evolve corporate brand identity and messaging in alignment with performance goals.
  • Manage portfolio marketing: TravelAI operates multiple travel brands, but you will also champion growth of the parent brand across all verticals.
  • Oversee content and communications initiatives that support both acquisition and retention.

Advisory to Product & Analytics

  • Act as the internal marketing expert for Product teams, advising on how product decisions impact acquisition, retention, and brand.
  • Help Product automate all aspects of marketing, turning growth and performance marketing into a core feature of the company.
  • Be comfortable with data-driven marketing, analytics, and attribution models, including delayed attribution, and be able to explain insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Analytics & Leadership

  • Balance analytics depth with leadership: Proven ability to stay hands-on with platforms (Google Ads, paid social, emerging tools) while leading and mentoring a distributed team.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members while ensuring performance goals are consistently met.
  • Build strong relationships with remote team members and foster respect and autonomy across geographies.

Innovation & AI

  • Champion AI-driven growth experiments, from campaign automation to personalization and creative testing.
  • Stay at the frontier of how technology can transform acquisition and growth.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving tools, embracing automation where valuable while recognizing what still requires manual effort.

Ideal Candidate

  • 6-8 years in marketing, with a strong foundation in SEM and progression into broader growth/marketing roles.
  • Proven success managing large-scale budgets and delivering ROI.
  • Agency experience managing multiple high-spend accounts across geographies preferred.
  • Strong analytics skills; ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Natural problem-solver who spots growth opportunities others miss.
  • Strong collaborator, able to advise Product and Senior Executives, managing up as well as down.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments, with a track record of learning new skills and challenging assumptions.
  • Empathetic leader with strong EQ who earns team respect, especially in remote environments.
  • Excited about AI and the evolution of growth marketing.
  • Ambitious, upwardly mobile, and sees this role as a springboard to future senior leadership.
