As our Marketing Operations Director, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our marketing team, refining our processes, and driving the execution of thoughtful, results-driven marketing strategies.

You'll work closely with the founder to strategize and optimize campaigns, build relationships with partners, and ensure that our marketing operations run smoothly and effectively.

We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with solid experience in leadership, a mind for operations and data-driven decision-making, and extensive experience in the digital health marketing space.

This position is not open to California Residents.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Marketing Director, you'll be the primary driver of our marketing success. You'll lead a talented team and manage all parts of our marketing. Here’s a breakdown of what that looks like:

Strategic Vision & Leadership: Develop and champion a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our company's mission, business objectives, and growth targets. Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, mentor, and empower a high-performing marketing team. Set clear individual and team goals, conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

Digital Product Launch Excellence: Spearhead the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for all digital product and course launches. This includes developing compelling go-to-market plans, coordinating cross-functional teams (content, design, affiliates, tech), and optimizing pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases for maximum impact and revenue-

Omnichannel Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all marketing campaigns across key channels, including:

  • Email Marketing: Drive the strategy for our core email marketing funnels, lead-nurturing sequences, sales campaigns, and community engagement. Focus on segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing to maximize conversions and customer lifetime value.
  • Lead Acquisition & Nurturing: Develop and implement robust strategies for attracting, capturing, and nurturing qualified leads through diverse channels, ensuring a seamless journey from awareness to conversion.
  • Paid Advertising (Paid Ads): Direct the strategy and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads), focusing on ROI, audience targeting, and creative testing.
  • Content & SEO Strategy: Guide the creation of high-value content (blog posts, articles, guides, video) optimized for search engines, aimed at attracting organic traffic and establishing thought leadership.
  • Podcast Management: Oversee the strategic direction, production, and promotion of our podcast. This includes developing content calendars, optimizing for listenership growth, and ensuring the podcast serves as a powerful lead generator and community-building tool.
  • Social Media & Community Engagement: Oversee daily content strategy and engagement across key platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Foster authentic connections with our audience and manage automated DMs and replies where appropriate.
  • Affiliate & Partnership Marketing: Cultivate and expand strategic relationships with affiliate partners, influencers, and complementary businesses to broaden our reach and drive sales.

Manage Marketing Tools & Tech: Oversee our entire marketing technology stack, including platforms like Kajabi, GoHighLevel, ManyChat, AI editors, Asana, Slack, and Wix. Identify opportunities to increase automation, improve system efficiencies, and integrate cutting-edge AI tools to enhance our operations.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and build a robust framework for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on marketing performance. Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to continuously optimize campaigns and allocate resources effectively.

Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimize marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing return on investment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison, fostering seamless collaboration with product development, sales, customer support, and fulfillment teams to ensure unified messaging, aligned goals, and an exceptional customer journey.

Market & Industry Intelligence: Stay at the forefront of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and shifts in the digital health/wellness/trauma healing industry. Proactively identify new opportunities and bring innovative ideas to the team.

What You'll Need:

Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is a bonus.
  • You require at least 10 years of experience in digital marketing leadership, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Director or similar top-level role.
  • You must have solid experience in marketing for online businesses, especially those that sell information products, online courses, and digital content.
  • No negotiable: proven track record of successfully generating new leads, utilizing email marketing effectively, launching digital products, and managing paid ads that yield positive results.
  • Experience managing and coaching marketing teams, creating a positive and results-focused environment.
  • It's a big plus if you have good experience with growing and making money from podcasts.

Skills & Mindset:

  • You're a super strategic thinker who can take big ideas and turn them into clear plans with measurable goals.
  • You really understand how the whole digital marketing process works, from when someone first hears about us to when they buy something.
  • You're great with numbers and data, and you can use them to make smart decisions.
  • You know your way around marketing automation and customer relationship tools (like Kajabi, GoHighLevel).
  • You're familiar with project management tools (like Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com) and communication tools (like Slack).
  • You understand web analytics (like Google Analytics).
  • You're an excellent communicator, both in writing and speaking, and can explain complex things simply.
  • You're super organized, great at managing projects, and can handle many tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • You genuinely care about wellbeing, healing trauma, and integrative health – it's a big part of who we are.
