Position Summary:
As Digital Marketing Lead, you will be tasked with shaping and implementing a demand generation program that ushers customer prospects through a full-lifecycle buyer’s journey, with the goal of generating new sales qualified leads. Responsibilities will include defining the buyer’s personas and journeys, developing marketing campaigns, generating content, and executing multi-faceted campaigns using a marketing automation tool.
You will also be responsible for maintaining key performance metrics that can being used to measure progress, refine campaigns, and adapt techniques for maximum effectiveness. This will require close collaboration with the sales team, product organizations, and other key stakeholders across the company to set-up a program that improves customer awareness and generates new leads. The successful candidate will be a champion for marketing and demand generation, guiding other in the company in how to support your objectives.
This is an 100% remote, 60% part time role (working 3 days a week). We welcome applications from all UK locations, and can be flexible on the three days per week that are worked.
Main Responsibility Areas:
- Inbound, outbound, and account-based demand generation activities.
- Administration of HubSpot marketing automation system
- Development of programs to capture new leads (opt-in contacts)
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns.
- Definition of buyer personas and journeys.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and drive revenue.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product and customer service, to create cohesive demand generation efforts.
- Mapping of content to buyer’s journeys
- Authoring and editing of content to support the demand generation process.
- Coordination with other key internal and external stakeholders to develop new content, support the buyer’s journey, and qualify new leads.
- Management of demand generation KPIs and score card.
- Refinement of approaches and techniques based on data metrics.
- Use data and analytics to measure and improve the performance of demand generation efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners, influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques.
- Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Create and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.
- Measure and report on the success of demand generation campaigns, using metrics such as leads, conversions, and revenue.
- Identify and resolve challenges and conflicts within the demand generation process.
- Provide training and support to team members on demand generation best practices and tools.
- Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong demand generation experience, skilled in the use of the latest tools and techniques.
- Practical experience with account-based marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen sense of how to tell stories that resonate with each buyer persona.

- 5+ years leading a B2B demand generation program, including experience:
- Generating new leads / opt-in contacts
- Defining buyer’s personas and buyer’s journeys.
- Drafting relevant content for each stage of the program.
- Working with HubSpot’s marketing automation software to implement campaigns.
- Working cooperatively across functions to support marketing activities.
- Measuring and tuning campaigns.
- Player/coach experience - both leading a team and acting as an individual contributor.
- Experience marketing to Cable and Telecommunications service providers.
- Experience interacting with technical resources and learning new technology concepts.
- Experience setting up a new demand generation program from scratch.
