About the Role
As we advance into active development for our new upholstery category, this role will lead both
the creative vision and the technical execution of the line. Stationed directly on-the-ground in
Vietnam, this designer will bridge the gap between initial design intent and the factory floor,
vastly compressing development cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Leadership: Own the creative concepting, technical drawings,
material specifications, and construction details for all upholstery products.
Factory Collaboration: Utilize direct daily factory access to manage prototyping, iterate
on designs quickly, and improve speed-to-market.
Cost & Manufacturability Optimization: Partner with engineering and supplier teams
to optimize designs for efficient manufacturing and clear cost visibility.
Quality Oversight: Maintain strict hands-on quality oversight during the critical product
development and prototyping phases.
Qualifications
-Extensive experience in furniture design, specifically specialized in upholstery
construction, frame engineering, padding, and fabrics.
-Expert proficiency in CAD software, 3D modeling, and creating factory-ready production
drawings.
-Unique ability to hold a strong creative design vision while speaking the technical
language of factory floor engineers.
-Proven track record of navigating manufacturing realities to deliver high-quality, cost-
efficient consumer products.
