We're looking for a Visual (Design Systems) Designer with exceptional visual design skills to support a large-scale Design System initiative for a leading enterprise software platform. This role is focused on visual exploration, design systems thinking, and crafting polished user interface experiences that can scale across complex products

.

You'll work closely with an established Design System team to help define and evolve the visual language of the platform. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll explore design directions, create high-fidelity concepts, evaluate design solutions, and help bridge brand expression with scalable system design.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI, Product Design, or Visual Design roles with a strong emphasis on user interface design and visual craft.
• Outstanding visual design portfolio demonstrating excellence in typography, color systems, spacing, hierarchy, layout, iconography, and interaction design.
• Experience working within or contributing to design systems, with an understanding of how visual decisions scale across products and experiences.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, complex workflows, information-dense interfaces, and interaction patterns.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA, and experience incorporating accessibility considerations into visual design decisions
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments, synthesizing inputs, forming design recommendations, and defending design rationale with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience working on enterprise SaaS products.
• Previous involvement in Design System initiatives or component library evolution.
• Experience conducting competitive visual analysis and translating insights into design recommendations.
• Familiarity with Material UI (MUI) or other enterprise design system frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Design System team to explore and define future visual directions for enterprise software products.
• Explore, iterate, and refine visual design directions across areas such as color, typography, spacing, elevation, iconography, and overall product aesthetics.
• Create high-fidelity design concepts and prototypes that demonstrate how visual design decisions apply across real product workflows and use cases.
• Contribute to the development of scalable visual patterns that can be incorporated into the broader Design System.
• Support design evaluation activities by preparing assets, prototypes, and presentation materials for stakeholder reviews and user feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with product designers, researchers, engineers, and brand partners to align visual design direction with user needs and business goals.
• Help translate brand principles into practical, scalable Design System solutions that can be adopted across products,
• Advocate for accessibility, consistency, and usability throughout the design process.
• Contribute to a culture of design excellence through collaboration, critique, and thoughtful design discussion.
