The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead the evolution of engagement and progression systems across the Tradeify ecosystem.

This role will primarily focus on designing experiences that drive motivation, retention, progression, and long-term platform engagement. You will help shape how users experience achievement, competition, rewards, progression, and behavioral feedback throughout the platform.

While this is a Senior Product Designer role with broader product design responsibilities, the immediate focus will be on engagement-driven product experiences and gamified systems that enhance the overall trader journey.

We are looking for someone who understands how to combine behavioral psychology, systems thinking, product strategy, and exceptional UX craft into experiences users genuinely love returning to.

What You’ll Own

Engagement & Progression Systems

Lead the design of engagement-focused experiences across the Tradeify platform
Create progression systems including achievements, streaks, milestones, ranks, levels, challenges, rewards, unlocks, and competitive mechanics
Design engagement loops that increase retention, consistency, and daily active usage
Build systems that encourage healthy trader habits and long-term platform participation
Partner with Product, Growth, and Data teams to experiment, measure, and iterate on engagement initiatives
Design motivational experiences that feel premium and sophisticated rather than gimmicky
Help shape the long-term vision around user progression, incentives, and platform engagement

Senior Product Design Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product design across key platform initiatives
Create intuitive user experiences for complex trading and fintech workflows
Produce wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and polished high-fidelity designs
Collaborate closely with Engineers and Product Managers from concept through launch
Improve onboarding, feature adoption, usability, and user retention across the platform
Contribute to design systems, interaction patterns, and UX standards
Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver impactful experiences

What We’re Looking For

Product Design Experience

5+ years of product design experience in SaaS, fintech, gaming, consumer tech, or high-growth digital products
Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped product work and high-quality UX/UI execution
Excellent visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking skills
Expertise with Figma and modern product design workflows
Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced product environments

Engagement / Behavioral Design Experience

Experience designing engagement systems, progression mechanics, loyalty systems, retention experiences, or habit-forming digital products
Strong understanding of behavioral psychology, user motivation, retention mechanics, and reward systems
Ability to think in systems, incentives, progression models, and long-term user engagement
Strong experimentation mindset with experience iterating based on user behavior and data

Bonus Points

Experience in gaming, fantasy sports, trading, investing, crypto, or competitive platforms
Experience designing for highly engaged online communities
Familiarity with growth experimentation and A/B testing
Experience with data-dense interfaces or fintech products
Startup experience operating in fast-moving environments
