User Experience Designer

OVERVIEW

We’re seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer (Contract) to lead the design efforts for our website redesign initiative. This role will focus on rebuilding our design system, creating a scalable component library, refreshing our logos and brand visuals, and delivering a modern, user-centered digital experience. This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field or relevant work experience

SENIOR UX/UI DESIGNER

PRODUCT DEPARTMENT Reports to VP of Product | Contractor

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Lead the end-to-end design of our website redesign project

 Build and document a new design system, including components,

typography, color palette, and iconography

 Integrate updated logos and brand identity into the website and

related assets

 Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design

specifications for development

 Partner closely with product, engineering and QA to ensure seamless

implementation of designs

 Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and brand goals

into user-friendly solutions

 Conduct user research and usability testing to refine experiences and

validate design decisions

 Ensure accessibility, scalability, and brand consistency across all

digital touchpoints

QUALIFICATIONS

 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design with a strong focus on web projects

 Proven track record of building design systems and component libraries

 Strong portfolio demonstrating website redesigns, brand integration, and user-centered design

 Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD

 Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UX best practices

 Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

 Experience using UX best practices to design solutions with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

 Clear communicator, able to collaborate with various departments, levels of leadership, and personality types
