The Role
We are looking for a technical, construction “Project Manager,” to be the technical subject matter expert of the Track3D platform, supporting primarily pre-sales and some post-sales customer engagements. You need to have a deep understanding of Track3D, evangelizing the value, benefits, and features. You are passionate about bringing solutions to customers and are eager to be a change agent, bringing disruptive technology to the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing technical and domain expertise, understanding both the construction process and how Track3D delivers value on the jobsite
- Drive the technical discovery process, both pre-sales (primary focus) & post-sales, helping to uncover customer’s current pains and to align to their business objectives
- Prepare and deliver high impact presentations and technical demonstrations to impart the value of Track3D
- Guide prospects through the evaluation process of Track3D ensuring that our solution meets key business objectives and technical requirements
- Develop a technical understanding of the competitive landscape and Track3D’s differentiators. Be the expert that can be pulled in to discuss differentiators and box out the competition in this competitive construction tech landscape
- Empower customers to understand and leverage the insights they get from Track3D across their whole organization
- Manage clients’ technical requests and their expectations
- Assist the wider Track3D team (engineering, product, marketing) to design new features & message based on customer feedback and your industry experience
- Juggle many different internal + external stakeholders and understand what they need
- Be able to work both remotely and to visit project sites
Requirements:
- BSc/BA degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management or Engineering, or another related field
- Extensive previous work experience (>5 years) with new construction projects as a project manager, site Engineer, superintendent, VDC manager or a similar role for the residential and/or commercial sectors
- Familiarity with construction and project management software programs (Procore, Autodesk, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of the construction process
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work under pressure, and prioritize, thriving in a startup environment
- Able to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously
- Motivated with a positive attitude
- Passion for technology and delivering value to customers
