Our client, a leading Global Tax Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong front-end focus to join their newly launched AI division. This is a fully remote role, requiring travel to a site twice per year.

This contract-to-hire opportunity begins with a 3-month contract before transitioning to a permanent position.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET and TypeScript/React with a passion for building innovative solutions to streamline tax-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders, including tax professionals and subject matter experts, to identify and define business challenges and requirements. Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web applications for both internal and external use, ensuring seamless functionality and an exceptional user experience.

Hands-On Implementation: Actively contribute to the development and deployment of solutions, writing efficient, scalable, and well-documented code. Leverage technologies such as .NET Web API, SQL Server, React, and Microsoft Azure to build robust and high-performing applications.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by conducting thorough testing and debugging of developed solutions. Perform code reviews and approve pull requests to ensure code integrity, performance, and best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including tax professionals, IT specialists, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless deployment and integration of solutions within the tax practice. Facilitate clear communication and alignment across teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Project Lifecycle Management: Play an integral role throughout the entire project lifecycle, from documenting requirements and developing solutions to system configuration, testing, debugging, and providing ongoing support to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience with .NET, SQL, and TypeScript/React.
Strong expertise in front-end development and UI/UX principles, with a focus on a 60/40 split (heavier front-end).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture principles is a plus, though not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
