We are growing fast and are looking for a marketing specialist to help us accelerate.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a mid-level, results-driven Marketing professional to lead our marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate should be a specialist in developing and implementing marketing plans that drive ROI and can thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to achieve aggressive growth goals within the next three months and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Towerbuddy’s business goals.
- Identify target audiences, especially in Africa, India and other growth markets, and craft localized marketing campaigns.
Performance Marketing:
- Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
- Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and minimize customer acquisition costs.
Content and Communication:
- Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels, including website, social media, email, and video.
- Collaborate with content creators to deliver high-quality materials that build trust and generate FOMO among target audiences.
Lead Generation:
- Design and implement lead generation strategies to drive property listings and sign-ups from landlords and real estate agents.
- Create effective funnels to nurture leads and convert them into active users.
Social Media and Influencer Marketing:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Partner with influencers and key opinion leaders to amplify the Towerbuddy brand.
Events and Webinars:
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events and webinars to engage with target audiences and promote Towerbuddy’s offerings.
- Work with internal teams to develop event content, manage logistics, and measure event success.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and measure marketing performance using analytics tools.
- Provide actionable insights and regular reports to leadership on marketing performance.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment across all initiatives.
- Coordinate with external agencies or freelancers when required.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1+ year in a digital-first or SaaS / PaaS company.
- Proven expertise in performance marketing and driving measurable ROI.
- Strong understanding of marketing tools and platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, HubSpot, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with marketing in emerging markets, especially Africa, is a plus.
- Exceptional content marketing and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
