The Role
The Senior Graphic Designer works with the Lead Designer and Creative Director to
prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts for digital media and print.
The Tasks
- Understanding of our client's branding and positioning to help formulate concepts
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
- Plans concept by studying brand positioning, target market, the goal of the art piece, information and materials
- Illustrates concept by designing a rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and digital channels
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Completes projects by coordinating with Account Executives and other creative colleagues
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing
professional publications and participating in professional societies
Entry Requirements
- At least five years of experience working as a Senior Graphic Designer
- In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Illustrator, PhotoShop or InDesign
- In-depth working knowledge of powerpoint or Keynote and Microsoft word
