A leading entertainment and media company is seeking an agile UX / Visual Designer to support its digital experiences and creative initiatives. This role combines user experience design, visual design, design-system development, and experimentation with AI-powered creative tools.

You’ll work across business-facing websites, SaaS products, entertainment, digital merchandising, and upper-funnel e-commerce experiences. A key focus will be improving web experiences and building reusable design components that support consistency and scale.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual designer who can move quickly from concept to polished execution, solve problems independently, and communicate design decisions clearly. You should be comfortable working in Figma, managing tight deadlines, and exploring how AI and emerging technologies can improve the creative process.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and improve digital experiences across business-facing websites and other digital properties.

•Create reusable design-system components, patterns, and visual elements in Figma.

•Identify and solve UX and visual design challenges efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

•Source, generate, edit, and manipulate imagery using traditional design software and AI-powered creative tools.

•Explore emerging AI tools and incorporate useful AI-assisted workflows into design processes.

•Translate concepts, ideas, and project requirements into polished, production-ready designs within tight timelines.

•Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to understand objectives, present concepts, and develop effective creative solutions.

•Support B2B and SaaS digital experiences, web-based products, and business-facing platforms.

•Develop creative assets and digital experiences for entertainment, sports, seasonal campaigns, and merchandising initiatives.

•Contribute to upper-funnel e-commerce and retail experiences, with a focus on discovery and engagement rather than transactional checkout.

•Participate in A/B testing and user-testing initiatives when appropriate to evaluate design effectiveness.

•Explain design rationale, present work, and guide stakeholders through the design process.

•Stay informed about developments in AI, creative technology, and modern digital design practices.

Required Qualifications

•Professional experience as a Product Designer, Visual Designer, Digital Designer, or in a similar design role.

•Several years of hands-on experience using Figma.

•A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving, and the process behind design decisions, not just polished final deliverables.

•Experience designing websites and digital products.

•Experience creating reusable design-system components and patterns.

•Strong visual design skills and an understanding of modern web experiences.

•Ability to work quickly, manage tight turnaround times, and move efficiently through concepts and iterations.

•Ability to clearly explain design decisions, creative rationale, and the process behind proposed solutions.

•Comfort collaborating with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.

•Willingness to experiment with AI tools and incorporate emerging technologies into the design workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience using AI-powered design and creative tools.

•A demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technologies, including their practical applications in design.

•Experience designing B2B platforms, SaaS products, or business-facing digital experiences.

•Background in entertainment, media, television, sports, retail, or e-commerce.

•Experience with digital merchandising and upper-funnel shopping experiences.

•Familiarity with A/B testing, user testing, and design iteration based on feedback or results.

•Experience creating AI-generated or AI-enhanced imagery.

•Experience working on large-scale consumer websites or complex business-facing digital properties.

•Experience supporting customer-facing initiatives or projects with direct client involvement.

A genuine interest in entertainment and television is particularly relevant. Experience across B2B, SaaS, digital merchandising, or upper-funnel e-commerce will also be valuable, along with an openness to experimenting with new tools and creative workflows.

Contract Details

•Fully remote position.

•Initial contract duration of 6 months to 1 year.

•Anticipated start in October 2026, with the potential for the engagement to continue through approximately October 2027.

•Hourly compensation of $40–$50.
