# Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (TS Clearance)

## About the Role

Andesite is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to develop backend and frontend systems for a new product serving technical operators in the national security space. The role focuses on building applications and secure APIs that process and visualize multi-source intelligence data, including social media, audio, and geolocation data, while extending Andesite’s existing platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Design, Domain SMEs, Engineering teams, and customers to translate complex technical requirements into scalable, high-performance user experiences. This role combines full stack engineering, cloud technologies, AI-assisted development, and direct collaboration with tactical operators in real-world national security environments. An active TS security clearance is required.

## Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and launch resilient, high-performance web applications.

* Develop secure APIs for mission-critical operator workflows.

* Process and visualize multi-source intelligence data, including social media feeds, audio streams, and geolocation telemetry.

* Translate complex technical requirements into seamless user experiences for national security analysts.

* Partner with Product, Design, Domain SMEs, and Engineering teams.

* Deploy alongside tactical operators to build, validate, and optimize custom tools in real-world national security operational contexts.

* Extend and strengthen Andesite’s core platform capabilities.

* Ensure seamless data integration, low-latency performance, and scalable infrastructure across multiple product offerings.

* Develop backend and frontend systems that enable analysts to gain value from diverse data sources.

* Use AI coding tools and harness development as part of the software engineering workflow.

## Required Qualifications

* Active TS security clearance.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum 5 years of full stack engineering experience.

* Experience developing responsive and scalable frontends.

* Experience developing APIs and working with data structures, algorithms, and software design.

* Experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

* Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

* Proficiency with AI coding tools and harness development.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Passion for delivering customer-focused products using next-generation AI technology.

## Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience working in an early-stage startup, such as Seed or Series A.

* Experience developing AI products that leverage natural language processing, computer vision, or other machine learning techniques.

## Compensation & Benefits

* Base salary: $180,000–$240,000

* Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.
