# Senior Product Designer

## About the Role

Big Human is seeking a Senior Product Designer with 4–6 years of product design experience at an agency, studio, or in-house brand. This role is suited to a designer with strong product, visual, and UI/UX design skills who can take digital products from discovery through launch.

You will work across platforms, websites, and apps, leading design projects, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and research, and helping translate brands into digital experiences. The role also includes mentoring other designers and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced design team.

## Key Responsibilities

* Lead digital product design projects from discovery through launch.

* Drive discovery, ideation, definition, wireframing, visual design, prototyping, and final design execution.

* Design mobile applications and web products.

* Develop high-quality UI/UX designs with strong visual hierarchy and typography.

* Translate brands into compelling digital experiences.

* Plan and facilitate design workshops, client reviews, and user research.

* Create and maintain design systems.

* Collaborate closely with engineers throughout product development.

* Lead digital projects with autonomy and authority.

* Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.

* Clearly articulate and defend design decisions.

* Mentor members of the design team.

* Navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.

* Ask questions and proactively seek clarity when requirements are uncertain.

## Required Qualifications

* 4–6 years of product design experience at an agency, studio, or in-house brand.

* High-caliber portfolio showcasing a variety of products.

* Strong visual design, UI/UX, prototyping, typography, and visual hierarchy skills.

* Experience designing mobile apps and web products.

* Ability to lead projects through discovery, ideation, definition, design, and launch.

* Experience collaborating with engineers.

* Experience planning and facilitating design workshops, client reviews, and user research.

* Experience creating and maintaining design systems.

* Ability to lead digital projects independently.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong collaboration and stakeholder presentation skills.

* Ability to articulate and defend design decisions.

## Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000
