# Senior Data Analyst

## About the Role

Wing is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Analytics team. This role is based in Palo Alto, California, or remotely within the United States. The position focuses on using data and analytics to turn complex and ambiguous business questions into clear, decision-focused insights.

The successful candidate will analyze complex datasets, build robust analytical models, conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. This role partners with stakeholders and leadership to evaluate tradeoffs, quantify business impact, and support strategic decision-making.

## Key Responsibilities

* Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

* Identify appropriate data sources for ambiguous business questions.

* Ensure analytical work is accurate, relevant, and actionable.

* Design and build robust models to evaluate tradeoffs and quantify impact.

* Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to support strategic decisions.

* Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

* Develop dashboards, automated workflows, and self-service analytics where appropriate.

* Partner with business stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into well-defined analytical questions.

* Communicate analytical findings in a clear, decision-focused manner.

* Support leadership and cross-functional teams with data-informed decision-making.

## Required Qualifications

* 3–6+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business analytics, consulting, or strategic data roles.

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as data analytics or mathematics.

* Strong experience in data analysis, modeling, and applied analytics.

* Experience using SQL, Excel, Python, or similar analytical tools.

* Proven ability to work with ambiguous and complex business problems and develop actionable solutions.

* Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.

* Ability to present complex analyses clearly and in a decision-focused manner.

* Experience building scenario models, forecasts, or tradeoff analyses to support business decisions.

* Ability to independently prioritize work and drive impact.

* Comfortable partnering with leadership and influencing decisions across multiple functions.

## Compensation & Benefits

* Base Salary: $128,000–$170,000 USD

* Additional compensation includes bonus, equity, and benefits.
