Tonies USA is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive customer retention activities. This individual will embed a deeply analytical approach throughout the Tonies organization to understand customer listening behavior and translating that into actionable insights that drive both customer retention activities and future portfolio development. You will be equally comfortable engaging senior business leaders regarding customer engagement strategy as you are aligning with data peers on global processes and definitions and discuss about proper statistical methods and potential findings. You are innovative, highly analytical, deeply curious, and willing to test & learn which allows you to continuously drive increased weekly listening times across our customers. Travel requirements are expected to be 10-20% and this position reports to the Head of Audience Engagement in Tonies US with plenty of support from the centralized data team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Customer & Marketing Analytics: Analyze customer behavior and engagement patterns to improve retention, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
• Marketing & Campaign Effectiveness: Measure and optimize marketing campaigns through building segmentation support, conversion modeling and incrementality testing.
• Advanced Data Modeling & Predictive Analytics: Work with data scientists and analysts to refine predictive models and enhance forecasting tools to improve personalization and retention strategies.
• Self-Service Reporting & Enablement: Enable data-driven decision-making by defining key metrics and building dashboards in Tableau & ad-hoc reports
• Data Activation & Customer Data Infrastructure: Leverage large data sets and reverse ETL tools to activate customer insights for marketing automation.
• Collaboration with Global Data Teams: Work with international data teams to align on tools, governance, and best practices.
• Data Governance: Collaborate closely with your data peers to share best practices about tools and processes and to leverage global efficiencies and quality standards

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in data analytics with a strong grasp of machine learning, capable of driving impactful data-driven decisions.
• Advanced expertise with commonly used analytics tools like dbt, Snowflake and Tableau and best practices to allow for the needed scalability and quality
• Strong big data manipulation (SQL) and statistical programming skills (R or Python), ideally with experience running predictive models and regression analyses
• Able to effectively translate complex data insights into clear, actionable strategies for varied business audiences around the globe.
• Displays a proactive, problem-solving approach, ready to tackle both big and small challenges.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influencing international stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a remote setting, with willingness to travel up to 10% internationally and domestically.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or computational field, ensuring strong analytical capabilities.
