Tonic3 is looking to hire a UX/UI Designer for one of our large Fortune 500 clients. We’re looking for the right designer to join the in-house creative agency and deliver a great user experience across multiple platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to have your work seen by people across the US. In this role, you will work directly with a Design Lead and Creative Director on a wide range of projects and be tasked with innovating and improving digital user experiences for mobile and web.

The key characteristics of this position are:
- UX / UI Expert – Developing dynamic landing pages from the ground up, thinking through workflows and functionality.
- Innovative Designer – Applying a rich background of design fundamentals in creative ways to elevate our deliverables.
- Client Advocate – Approaching projects with the needs of the internal client partner front of mind.
- Continuous Learner / Influencer – Curious and constantly learning design trends/enhancements that set our assets apart.
- Collaborative Partner – Partnering with internal team members to drive creative thought and with client partners to harness insights and develop solutions.
- Brand Strategist – Maintaining a keen eye and strategizing the most effective methods of implementing brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel that promotes our client's core principles.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone who:
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI and digital design.
- A passion for UX/UI design, workflows, and functionality/framework.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud.
- A strong background in design fundamentals — typography, color theory, brand integration, and critical thinking with regard to creative application.
- Knowledge of ADA compliance.
- Talent for creating high-end, multiplatform deliverables.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple concurrent job statuses.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and adhere to a process calendar.
- Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with local and remote team members.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in design or a related field.
- Mac literacy.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager.
- Familiarity with Google Web Designer.
- Must have a rich, online portfolio website of digital work.
- Must have agency experience.
Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of our client’s in-house agency team is to provide their partners with innovative and visually appealing creatives that are on-brand and ADA-compliant.
This UX/UI Designer is specifically responsible for:
- Translating user research and business requirements into practical and innovative clickable prototypes.
- Rapidly conceptualizing user experiences through Adobe Experience Manager and a library of components.
- Creating elegant visual designs using innovative approaches for presenting information.
- Presenting your work during internal reviews and client presentations, providing sound research, and citing best practices to explain your architecture, design, and interaction decisions.
- Incorporating feedback from user testing into your designs.
- Preparing documentation on your wireframes and functional specifications for creating style frameworks.
- Developing eye-catching digital display ads that launch on third-party sites, designing concepts, and using specialized software to create HTML5 assets.
- Owning creatives throughout the job lifecycle (from concept through release).
- Implementing comprehensive guidelines into creatives to ensure 100% ADA compliance across all deliverable types.
- Reflecting core principles of curiosity and boldness in your approach to projects and demonstrating a determination to achieve a successful conclusion.
