The Role:
We are looking for a Project Manager & Account Strategist to manage our AdOps team and all client-related projects, ensuring smooth execution of advertising campaigns and internal initiatives. This person will play a critical role in relieving our leadership team (CMO & COO) from day-to-day client meetings and project management so they can focus on high-level strategy.
You will oversee all projects within the AdOps team, ensuring timely execution while collaborating across departments. Additionally, you will be the main point of contact for clients regarding their advertising campaigns, creative strategy, and business growth objectives, setting expectations in alignment with our team’s capacity.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and flexibility to fill gaps where needed in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:Team & Project Management:
- Manage and lead the AdOps team, ensuring clear expectations, priorities, and accountability.
- Oversee the execution of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with lead generation KPIs.
- Manage all internal and client-facing projects, keeping timelines on track and optimizing workflows.
- Own and improve project management processes, using tools like ClickUp and Airtable, with a focus on streamlining workflows, improving collaboration, and increasing overall efficiency.
- Ensure all deliverables (ads, creatives, landing pages, reports) are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.
Client Strategy & Communication:
- Serve as the primary client contact for advertising performance, creative needs, and campaign strategy.
- Set realistic client expectations based on AdOps team capacity and performance metrics.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients, helping them understand lead flow, ROI, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct campaign performance check-ins when necessary, offering insights to optimize results.
- Work with clients to align advertising strategies with their business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Hands-On Execution:
- Work closely with media buyers, designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure campaigns are optimized for performance.
- Step in as needed to assist with creative production, campaign adjustments, or internal initiatives, particularly during peak workloads, urgent deadlines, or when additional support is required due to team capacity constraints that require extra hands.
- Support process improvements that increase efficiency in ad operations and project execution.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or project management in lead generation or paid media.
- 1+ years of leadership experience, managing teams or direct reports.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, lead generation, and CRM integrations.
- Highly organized & assertive, able to manage multiple projects and ensure team accountability.
- Strong communicator, both internally and with clients—able to set clear expectations and manage relationships effectively.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, especially within agencies or startups, where adaptability, multitasking, and proactive problem-solving are essential.
- Hands-on and flexible—willing to step in where needed to drive projects forward.
- Comfortable with project management tools like ClickUp and Airtable.
