Role: ERP Project Manager
Main Tasks:
· Facilitate structured onboarding and expectation alignment between internal teams, external vendors, and local country representatives, ensuring shared understanding and smooth integration.
· Establish and enforce governance practices across meetings and onboarding processes, ensuring clarity of roles, preparation, and follow-up accountability.
· Govern meeting structures ensuring meetings are purposeful, time-bound, and outcome-driven, by defining clear objectives, ensuring preparation, and driving accountability for follow-up actions.
· Own and moderate the backlog prioritization process, ensuring alignment between technical feasibility and business value — without assuming unilateral ownership.
· Support sprint planning and incident resolution by coordinating across functional, technical, and business teams.
· Moderate prioritization discussions between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring balanced and transparent decision-making.
· Critically review and validate planning assumptions, including time, cost, and resource estimates, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and delivery expectations. Integrate Financial Controlling into all relevant planning, decision-making, and governance processes, securing transparency and alignment on cost implications and budget ownership.
· Lead risk mitigation efforts by identifying gaps in advance, propose and implement mitigation activities to reduce likelihood and impact of issues.
· Identify and escalate risks related to knowledge continuity, especially during vendor transitions, and ensure mitigation plans are in place to preserve critical solution knowledge.
· Promote a collaborative, solution-oriented culture during high-pressure phases such as hyper care.
Technical Skills:
· Proven experience in IT project management within complex, multi-vendor environments.
· Experience in PLM/MES or ERP system rollouts, with a understanding of manufacturing company processes.
· Ability to operate effectively in hybrid delivery environments combining agile and waterfall methodologies.
· Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to moderate cross-functional discussions.
· Proven track record in designing and facilitating structured, outcome-driven meetings with diverse stakeholder groups.
· Familiarity with backlog management tools and agile delivery frameworks.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in IT project management tools and reporting software.
· Fluency in English.
Valued Skills:
· Experience with SAP RISE, Siemens TeamCenter or Siemens OpCenter.
· Background in managing testing or hyper care phases.
· Understanding of vendor governance and contract management.
· Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE.
· Experience in the aerospace or aerostructure sectors.
· Proficiency in additional languages such as German.
