About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Mid/Senior Full stack Engineer to join our dynamic technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to learn, the ability to take on new challenges, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You will collaborate closely with our team to develop and enhance our public-facing platforms, APIs, and back-office systems in a test-driven agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and high-performance web applications using Python (Rust & Go experience will be an advantage)
• Design and implement backend APIs, integrating them seamlessly with front-end components.
• Work on data modelling, large-scale data ingestion pipelines, and multi-processing systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline developments
• Ensure robust authentication, authorisation, and data protection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality product features on time.
• Continuously improve and refine development best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the Tikos platform.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert in Python 3 (Rust & Go experience will be an advantage) and experience in building scalable backend services.
• Knowledge of React/Angular for front-end development.
• Understanding of developing scalable systems including parallel processing and multi-threading.
• Strong grasp of HTTP/Web architecture and API integration (REST, GraphQL, xRPC).
• Familiarity with secure development practices and web security principles.
• Experience with building and integrating ML models into production system.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with Rust for performance-critical applications.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with PyTorch.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (Kanban/Scrum).
• Knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and graph databases.
• Awareness of accessibility and localisation standards.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
