Job Summary
The Senior Digital Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, predicting and providing data and information in a manner where the business can act. The position deliverables include presentations, insights, recommendations and reports using digital data to support the consumer journey and the execution of consumer-facing programs and services. This individual will have a seat at the table of strategic decision-making and provide leadership over tracking deliverables and project timeframes. This position will share strategic responsibility for tracking requirements and will need to anticipate analytics needs of organization to ensure that digital data is available and of high quality. They will own ensuring tagging is complete on website by providing digital tracking requirements documentation and performing testing of implemented tags. They will also share responsibility to increase self-service usage of Adobe across the organization.
Associate Responsibilities
- Correlate and track unique new and repeat visitor trends, consumer profiles and user behavior trends
- Understand website effectiveness and conversion funnel including pathing and fallout analysis
- Create vision for digital marketing tracking strategy and ensure visits are classified in the correct marketing channel.
- Understand digital marketing effectiveness and develop analysis and recommendations for increased effectiveness.
- Provide analysis of key digital feature usage such as personalization, create a return, chat with customer service and create an account
- Provide oversight that tracking requirements for website (i.e. assignment of eVars, sProps, and Events) ensure that analysis of Key Performance Indicators and Key Business Requirements are possible.
- Maintain SDK and perform testing on implemented tracking
- Set up and maintain data connections, Marketing Channels and SAINT Classifications
- Build reports in Adobe to answer key repeatable business questions that can be accessed at any time and manage subscriptions
- Provide self-service training and mentor business end users on how to think about assigning KPI's to their business, build reports, and pull related data from Adobe.
- Use all tools at disposal to knit together holistic view of consumer journey, including Quantum Metrics, Evergage and Adobe Analytics
- Tie threads with other data analysts to provide cross-domain view of consumer interaction with the Carhartt brand across Carhartt.com, Carhartt Company Gear Direct to Consumer, and Carhartt.com EMEA Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics. or related field and/or equivalent years of relevant experience. Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5-6 years of BI and Analytics experience inclusive of 2-3 years building dashboards and delivering clickstream analysis & recommendations using Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- 1 year using Tealium and proficiency with Utag data layer preferred
- Experience presenting to & working with all levels of management, including negotiation of deliverables
- Proficient at debugging and identifying root cause of tracking issues; demonstrated knowledge of common types of issues
- Exemplify a sophisticated understanding of how web analytics tooling works, such as persistence of IDs/variables, cross-device tracking, data layers and processing rules
- Experience deploying analytics in asynchronous/single page application (built on Angular.js) preferred
- Demonstrated curiosity resulting in ability to turn insights into recommendations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the proven ability to work effectively with numerous stakeholders and contributors, both internally and externally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partners
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

- Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required.
- Willing to work some weekends if necessary.
