Growing together.You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud network architecturesConfigure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groupsImplement and manage AWS networking services such as ELB, Direct Connect, and Transit GatewayImplement robust security measures including network ACLs, security groups, and AWS WAF and CloudFrontConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risksMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performanceDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform, or Ansible for network deployment and managementCollaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support cloud-based applications and servicesProvide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS network issuesStay updated with the latest AWS networking technologies, trends, and best practicesYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED (or higher)5+ years of experience in AWS cloud network engineering or a similar role5+ years of experience with network security practices and tools like WAF and CloudFront5+ years of experience in AWS networking services including VPC, Direct Connect, ELB, Transit Gateway, and Route 535+ years of experience in scripting and automation tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc.)All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
