Senior Data Scientist - Clean Tech

We’re partnering with an innovative cleantech company on a mission to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future. They’re building solutions that make it easier for households and businesses to access and manage renewable energy, and they need a skilled Senior Data Scientist to help power their next phase of growth.

In this role, you’ll develop and deploy advanced analytical models that drive intelligent decision-making and product innovation. You’ll work with a modern data stack, collaborate closely with data engineers and product teams, and play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support climate-positive solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and deploying machine learning models to support forecasting, optimisation and customer insights
• Designing analytical frameworks to measure and improve product performance and user outcomes
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to define data-driven strategies and guide decision-making
• Translating business problems into scalable data science solutions
• Championing best practices around experimentation, data ethics and model governance

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with Python and data science libraries (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Proven track record applying machine learning or statistical modelling to real-world business problems
• Solid understanding of data manipulation, feature engineering and experimentation design
• Experience collaborating with data engineering teams and working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP or similar)
• A curious, collaborative mindset and a passion for using data to drive sustainability and innovation
• Bonus: Interest in renewable energy technologies or climate analytics
