Freelance Opportunity: SAP Techno-Functional Software Engineer (SD, FI Modules)

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Techno-Functional Software Engineer to join our team for a freelance role focused on analyzing, designing, configuring, and customizing SAP solutions. This position requires hands-on expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and experience in the Sales & Distribution (SD) and Financial (FI) modules. The successful candidate will collaborate with business teams to analyze acceptance criteria and perform functional configuration within SAP, ensuring quality standards are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and work with the business teams to define acceptance criteria
• Perform functional configuration and customization within Sales & Distribution (SD) and Financial (FI) modules
• Design and implement Object-Oriented ABAP solutions following OO design principles/patterns
• Execute engineering practices such as test-driven development, CI/CD, and rigorous refactoring
• Implement and integrate SAP Integration Patterns such as ALE/IDOCs/Proxies
• Work with NW Gateway, Process Orchestration (POL), Enhancement Framework, Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, UI5/Fiori/OData, and HANA Development
• Develop and manage CDS Views and work with SAP PI for integration needs
• Ensure the quality of solutions by adhering to best practices and design patterns

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and OO Design Patterns
• Hands-on experience with SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Financial (FI) modules
• Deep understanding of SAP Integration Patterns including ALE/IDOCs/Proxies
• Strong knowledge of NW Gateway, Process Orchestration (POL), and Enhancement Framework
• Experience with Adobe Forms or Smart Forms
• Proficient in UI5/Fiori/OData development
• Expertise in HANA Development, CDS Views, and SAP PI
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Jenkins, Active Control, and test-driven development
