Position Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategic management, commercialization, and lifecycle optimization of product portfolios within Molecular Diagnostics, with a strong emphasis on New Product Introductions (NPIs). This role owns product strategy and commercial execution, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market while ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Market Insights
- Own portfolio strategy and identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, and competitive intelligence as well as contributing to strategic annual planning (STRAP).
- Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) activities and translate customer needs into actionable long-term portfolio development.
- Own Product Commercialization Process (PCP) deliverables including business plans, market requirements, pricing strategy, forecasting, launch readiness, and go-to-market planning and manage products throughout their lifecycle with post-launch optimization.
- Recommend portfolio investments and product roadmap priorities.
Commercial & Financial Leadership
- Develop business cases supporting new product investments, including ROI and NPV analyses.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, market share, and customer adoption while identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
- Develop compelling value propositions and commercial messaging supporting product success.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver commercialization and portfolio objectives.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority while driving accountability across functions.
Customer & Commercial Engagement
- Support commercial discussions related to pricing, product positioning, technical support, and product roadmap.
- Build relationships with key customers and industry experts to identify future opportunities and strengthen market position.
- Develop and deliver training and commercial enablement materials supporting successful product adoption.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- MBA, Master's degree, or PhD preferred.
Experience
- 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Scientific Applications, Commercialization, or Business Development within Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, or Healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and successful commercialization activities.
- Experience in regulated environments (Diagnostics) and with technologies such as PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, or next-generation sequencing (NGS) preferred.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrix organization.

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €3,441.67–€5,166.67.
