Senior Software Engineer / Angular (US Only)

Therm is the leading retail energy platform for the energy transition. Our platform facilitates an efficient retail marketplace by leveraging advanced algorithms, efficient data structures, and thoughtful UX to forecast and quantify risk for energy retailers across billions of data inputs a second.  We incorporate weather data, demand forecasts, market data, historical usage, and other energy data feeds to help our clients improve their operations and customer products.

Our Mission

As energy needs become more complex due to climate change, renewables, local generation, AI, EVs, as well as constant regulatory changes, there’s an acute need to be able to respond in real-time to market demands as well as quantify the inherent risk in any retail product.  Therm’s expertise in retail energy and advanced-computing capabilities enables sellers to improve their offering while simultaneously simplifying their customer’s experience. The problems you’ll solve

• Work with our UX designers and Product team to design and develop intuitive software for complex problems
• Develop high-performance and stable software with an ever growing set of functional capabilities in a reusable and modern framework / structure
• Deliver in a highly productive and collaborative manner across a complex domain with a remote team with an ever changing set of technical capabilities

You may be a fit for this role if

You have senior-level experience building client-facing applications. You are highly proficient on the frontend with  Angular (v9 and above), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RxJS, and state management libraries (e.g., NgRx).  You are a delivery focus, outcome obsessed, software professional looking to build quality software in a highly demanding domain.
