This is a full-time remote role for an experienced Data Scientist with deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI. The ideal candidate should be skilled in data wrangling, SQL development, and designing ML pipelines in the Azure ecosystem. This role is open to candidates based in Pakistan and requires strong analytical thinking, cloud experience, and proficiency with modern data tools.

Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in data science, Azure, and reporting tools.

Timings: 5:00 pm – 2:00 am (Pakistan time)

Role and responsibility:

Build and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks (PySpark).
Cleanse, transform, and model large datasets for analytical use.
Design and deploy machine learning models using Azure ML or MLflow.
Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI to support business insights.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and integrations.
Analyze data patterns and trends to support business and product decisions.
Integrate data from various sources: APIs, cloud storage, SQL databases, and Excel files.
Apply best practices in data governance, version control, and security

Key Skills Required:

Minimum 4 years of experience in data science, engineering, or analytics roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks (PySpark).
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI: DAX, modeling, drill-downs, custom visuals, Power Query, and scheduled refreshes.
Strong command of SQL Server and T-SQL: stored procedures, indexing, query performance tuning, CTEs.
Comfortable with working across Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Azure ML.
Ability to transform raw data into business-ready analytics solutions.
Strong data wrangling and analytical thinking skills.
