A strategic digital marketing agency is seeking an experienced part-time social media manager who has a proven track record of growing and managing social media accounts for B2C product brands, service providers, and non-profit organizations.
There is an opportunity for this position to turn into a full-time W2 role within 90 days.

Our social media managers must wear many hats – creative, strategic thinker, copywriter, implementation master, and community advocate.
We are looking for someone who likes to work independently (we don’t micromanage!) but is also open to feedback from the team and takes direction well. The ideal candidate is looking for long-term growth with an amazing team.
Must submit a digital portfolio or links to current/past accounts managed, graphics you've designed, and videos you have created/edited in order to be considered
The ideal candidate:
- Has a proven track record growing accounts and creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Is a creative yet also able to strategically think and guide content strategy
- Not only thinks of themselves as a social media manager but also a copywriter (captions, emails & more)
- Is a quick learner and able to dive deep into unfamiliar industries and niches to educate themselves
- Has a strong eye for design and is able to take a client’s brand guidelines/style and create engaging, on-brand, high-end graphics and visuals
- Has extensive video editing experience (for IG Reels & YouTube shorts)
- Is extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Is a self-starter and comfortable working independently (we aren’t micromanagers!)
Responsibilities:
- Work with 2-3 clients to carry out the social media strategy to align with client’s business goals (across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook)
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily to client accounts
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Carry out community management and engagement strategies to help organically grow the account/s
- A keen design eye and ability: must be able to use Canva to create branded graphics, videos & more that fit in with the client's visual message.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts’ design to ensure a cohesive, relevant, branded look (e.g. LinkedIn cover, IG story highlights)
- Suggest and implement new campaigns and features to develop brand awareness (promotions, giveaways, challenges, etc.)
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and application
- Utilize scheduling platforms like Later, and project management platforms like Asana, and Slack for daily communications
- Deliver weekly and monthly recaps that give insight into overall account standing, what's working and what's not as well as strategies to improve metrics for the coming month
Requirements:
- Previous work experience growing and managing social media accounts - specifically Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok
- Hands-on experience in content creation and management - MUST have experience and confidence editing videos and creating stunning visuals.
- Familiar with scheduling and analytics programs like Later, and project management tools like Asana, Trello
- Excellent copywriting skills - ability to deliver and emulate a strong brand voice for social media
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video - editing, designing, and more)
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical, yet creative
- Ability to work remotely, while still being collaborative with the rest of the team
- Able to work within normal business hours, M-F, 9 AM-5 PM EST
- BSC degree in Marketing or relevant field
