Marketing Operations Program Manager
Length: 1+ year contract
Remote in the US (PST – CST preferred)
Pay rate: $90 - $105/hr. W2
The Sage Group’s client, a leading Enterprise Tech Company, is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Sr. Marketing Program Manager with deep experience in Adobe marketing solutions, marketing automation platforms, and large-scale transformation programs. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process, and marketing execution, driving scalable operations that power demand generation, personalization, and customer experience excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Management
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs focused on marketing operations transformation, from strategy to execution.
- Define program roadmaps, success metrics, milestones, and timelines aligned with cross-functional teams.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and communication across workstreams (e.g., marketing, IT, analytics, sales enablement).
Marketing Automation & Technology Enablement
- Act as the power user and SME for Adobe Experience Cloud products, especially Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Adobe Target.
- Drive implementation and optimization of marketing automation workflows, customer journeys, and dynamic personalization.
- Partner with Marketing Ops, Martech, and Engineering teams to streamline tech integrations (e.g., CRM, CDP, analytics platforms).
Process Transformation
- Redesign and standardize marketing operational processes for scale — from campaign intake and QA to asset approval and lead routing.
- Champion automation opportunities (e.g., dynamic segmentation, triggered comms, campaign cloning).
- Drive adoption of best practices for data governance, tagging, and campaign measurement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data teams to align on campaign goals, audience strategy, and content planning.
- Ensure change management and training plans are in place for smooth adoption of new systems/processes.
Qualifications:
- 10 to15 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Automation, or Program Management
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud, especially:
- Adobe Campaign / Journey Optimizer
- Adobe Target / Personalization
- Adobe Analytics (a plus)
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end marketing operations transformation or Martech implementation programs
- Deep understanding of B2B or B2C marketing funnels, customer lifecycle marketing, and data-driven personalization
- Experience working with Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, or similar marketing and CRM tools
- Strong project/program management skills (Agile or hybrid frameworks preferred)
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
