Product Marketing Operations Manager
The Sage Group’s client, a market leader for Cloud Content Management is searching for a Product Marketing Operations Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that support product lifecycle and go-to-market execution. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of product initiatives across the organization.
You’ll play a key role in building operational excellence into how we plan, communicate, and execute product changes—especially around deprecations and releases—while driving visibility and accountability at scale.
Key Responsibilities
You will own and lead the following areas:
- Deprecation Program Management
- Drive end-to-end program management for product deprecations. Develop work back plans, establish clear timelines, align with all key cross-functional partners, and ensure on-time, smooth execution across product, marketing, support, legal, and sales.
- Product Release Communication Cadence
- Establish and maintain the rhythm of product release communications. Manage the monthly product release meeting, facilitate cross-team updates, and ensure product changes are clearly communicated and understood by internal and customer-facing teams.
- Cross-Functional Program Management
- Lead complex, cross-team initiatives tied to product marketing strategy. Define milestones, clarify roles and responsibilities, manage risks, and drive accountability from kick-off through delivery.
- Operational Infrastructure & Process Optimization
- Improve how our client’s product marketing team plans and executes. Build repeatable processes, templates, and playbooks to streamline coordination, reduce friction, and increase visibility.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
- Serve as a strategic partner to Product Marketing and Product teams, ensuring key initiatives are well-orchestrated and aligned across functions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing operations, program management, or product management within a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success managing large, cross-functional programs from planning through execution.
- Experience working closely with Product and Product Marketing teams.
- Proven ability to lead meetings, manage timelines, track deliverables, and resolve blockers.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience supporting go-to-market (GTM) launches or coordinating launch programs.
- Strategic planning experience—roadmapping, capacity planning, or portfolio-level coordination.
- Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar project management platforms.
Duration: 3 – 6 Months; opportunity to convert
