The Sage Group’s clients is looking for a Marketing Communications Associate, to cover communications around events and sales enablement in the B2B tech space. Client develops a cloud computing platform to help companies manage digital workflows for enterprise operations.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting event planning and execution by managing communications, creating content, and coordinating project timelines to ensure exceptional communications for our event attendees. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure all communications are timely, consistent, and engaging. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication plans for events, ensuring clear messaging to all stakeholders.
- Write, edit, and set up attendee communications for a multi-city event portfolio
- Maintain consistent messaging across all channels and ensure it aligns with event goals and brand guidelines.
- Draft and proofread a variety of materials including event signage, mobile app content, attendee emails, and more.
- Create content for pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications.
- Manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are met.
- Track and update event project status and ensure that all components are delivered on time.
- Assist in preparing post-event summaries and reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain and update event SharePoint sites and supporting event documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Planning, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience executing on marketing communications, with a focus on writing and project management around events and sales enablement, in B2B tech.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Zero travel for this role
Location: 100% remote in USA
Duration: EOY to start plus extension potential
Compensation: $40-50hr DOE
Portfolio: must be able to share relevant writing samples
