Position Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager is a key direct report to the Director of Advancement Marketing. The person holding this position will lead to produce two key outcomes:
1. Deliver a high-performing email marketing program that drives measurable engage ment and conversion across the full spectrum of Members and donors.
2. Lead and grow The League’s organic social media presence and Member-facing communications to significantly increase awareness of The League’s national and global mission.
Position Outcomes
1. Drive measurable growth in Member and donor engagement by creating, testing, and refining segmented email campaigns that increase open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and direct Gospel orders year over year.
2. Expand The League’s reach and impact by creating social media content strategies and short-form video that grow organic engagement, followers, and revenue contribution, while reporting results and refining for ongoing growth.
3. Execute ongoing and seasonal Gospel promotions by developing creative campaigns, managing operational setup, and delivering measurable results in Gospel orders and revenue, with at least two unique Gospel promotions created and deployed weekly.
4. Elevate mission awareness through storytelling by creating and sharing content across blogs, social media, and Member Zoom calls, reporting results, and refining strategies to inspire Members to carry and share Gospels and support The League’s national and global mission.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Email Marketing: Create, build, test, deploy, and report on three weekly segmented email campaigns, refining content based on performance insights.
2. Social Media: Develop and execute a content strategy with trend-driven posts and short-form video, tracking performance and refining approaches to expand awareness and engagement.
3. Content & Storytelling: Manage the creation, scheduling, and alignment of Evangelism Today blog content and Member Zoom calls, highlighting The League’s global mission. Track engagement and refine future storytelling based on results.
4. Gospel Promotions & Campaigns: Individually create and execute at least two Gospel promotion campaigns each week across email and social media, ensuring consistent messaging with unique creative approaches. Additionally, co-develop larger seasonal campaigns (Halloween, Christmas, POD, etc.), collaborating on strategy and execution. Report on results and refine campaigns to drive year-over-year growth.
Position Focus & Fit
The position reports to the Vice President of Advancement and serves as the central point for donor and partner data, donation process flow, mid-level gift officer management, and grant writing.
The person successfully filling this position will:

Required Competencies and Traits
• 5+ years of experience leading corporate email marketing programs, overseeing the full lifecycle: content creation, setup, testing, deployment, and performance reporting, while strategically cultivating each Member’s journey to generate orders and revenue.
• 5+ years of experience managing corporate social media accounts with demonstrated success growing and engaging audiences; experience preferred with accounts exceeding 500,000 followers.
• Process focused, with keen attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to lead up, down, and across the organization to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and partners in a cooperative team environment.
• Data informed, with a demonstrated ability to handle data from various sources and de partments, process it, identify weaknesses and problem areas, and make recommenda tions. • Virtual competency: a driven self-starter with a desire to learn, adapt and grow, including the high proficiency using tools such as MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Zoom, and database management systems.

• Hands-on creator who is digital savvy and trend-aware, willing to roll up their sleeves to capture and edit short-form video, create compelling photos and graphics, and run tests to optimize engagement — able to adapt quickly to new platforms, features, and formats while maintaining brand voice and strategy.
• Proven ability to co-develop and execute integrated campaigns (email, social, blog, seasonal promotions), collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment, quality, and measurable outcomes.
• A strong planner with excellent project management skills, comfortable working 60+ days ahead to balance multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-moving virtual environment.
