Position Description
The Senior Marketing Manager is a pivotal role responsible for leading PTL’s North American Member marketing initiatives, expanding the organization’s reach across key channels such as digital, direct mail, and social media. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this position will collaborate closely with the Director, providing key support in implementing bold, strategic direction, ensuring brand consistency, budget adherence, and alignment with PTL’s mission and goals.
The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee one direct report and a team of contractors, with a focus on building a high-performing marketing team over the next three to five years. This role will drive measurable, repeatable success, targeting a 40% annual growth, testing new strategies, and managing a scalable budget to maximize impact and consistently increase covered Gospel orders and drive donations under $1,000.

Required Competencies and Traits
- Has 5+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record of driving acquisition, conversion, and engagement through strategic marketing efforts, along with 2+ years of leadership experience managing direct reports.
- Has hands-on experience leading digital and print marketing efforts, including large-scale, six-figure+ paid advertising campaigns, email marketing, SEO, direct mail, donor acquisition, e-commerce platforms, and lead generation.
- Is a versatile creative professional skilled in copywriting, editing, graphic design, videography, and photography, capable of executing projects independently and collaborating effectively with teams.
- Possesses strong analytical skills, using campaign data to refine strategies and maximize impact.
- Can travel domestically for face-to-face meetings, as needed, 3-6 times per year.

Open to adapting to and executing new directions as required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with the ability to effectively manage and plan mass communications 30 to 60 days in advance.

Outcomes/Accountabilities
We are looking for a results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to drive the day to day North American Marketing efforts to help achieve a 40% growth year over year growth in donations under $1000 and covered gospels orders. This individual will be pivotal in expanding key marketing channels to fuel the overall growth plan:
- Email Marketing: Mentor and collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to grow the email marketing program by at least 15% during the first year. Oversee the development, execution, and analysis of email campaigns to engage donors and drive results.
- PPC Program: Sustain baseline ROA to continually grow our PPC efforts in Meta and Google via a scaling budget to ultimately achieve a 300% growth in the next 3 years.
- Direct Mail Program: Manage and run our direct mail campaigns, ensuring a minimum 10% growth in donations year-over-year through creative strategies and targeted outreach.
- North American Gospel Design & Marketing Assets: Lead the organization and marketing execution of four successful deliveries per year of the North American Gospel. Ensure the creation of 30-40 new cover designs per print run and coordinate with the Operations team on printing details and deadlines. Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure the gospels are accurately integrated into the marketing calendar. Manage the development of gospel descriptions and oversee the photography process, including both product and staged images, to support upcoming marketing campaigns.
- Mass Marketing Texting: Lead the launch and ongoing management of a mass marketing texting solution designed to generate orders and donations, ensuring optimal engagement and performance.
- Additional outcomes include: Growing our marketing team, enhancing our SEO efforts, evaluating and expanding our social media channels, working with senior leadership to update and launch a refined customer/donor communications. And other duties as assigned.
