The Planet Group is seeking a Experiential Designer to join one of our global technology clients. This role will be fully remote and 40 hours a week. The client is only considering candidates in California and is able to frequently travel.
The Experiential Designer will be integral to the Global Experiential Marketing team, focusing on leading the creative development and environmental execution for key Client events, co-branded activations, retail initiatives, and the Client Swag program. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams to create immersive experiences that engage varied B2B and B2C audiences and highlight the client’s impact on entertainment.
Product Marketing Director Responsibilities:
- Lead 2D, digital, and environmental creative development for in-person experiences.
- Collaborate with event managers and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.
- Manage internal and external design resources and ensure projects adhere to timelines.
- Stay updated on experiential design and technology trends to inform new ideas.
- Manage complex, high-visibility projects both independently and as part of a team.
- Travel up to 30% for project needs.
Product Marketing Director Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in design, art, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in consumer-facing experiential design.
- Strong creative, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, CAD, rendering tools) and MS Office Suite.
- Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to engage in high-level discussions.
- Experience with immersive technologies, virtual reality, and/or augmented/extended reality.
- Experience with live events production and retail environmental design.
- Understanding of the Consumer Entertainment market and the client’s market position.
