_Location: Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (M-Th onsite; Fri remote) OR open to REMOTE talent.

Duration: 6 months

Pay: up to $44/hour, DOE

The Planet Group is looking for a Apparel Graphic Designer (Sportswear Apparel) to join our well-known retail brand on a 6-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid onsite in Beaverton, OR or the client is open to a remote candidate.

Apparel Graphic Designer Responsibilities

• Concepting and building out design narratives.
• Work with the design development and business partners to produce apparel graphic design assets.
• Create versatile graphic design solutions that are trend-right for a range of consumer segments.
• Lead team meetings and share critical information to ensure projects hit deadlines.
• Present design concepts and seasonal initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create graphics and apply them to the creative vision.
• Receive and interpret briefs, and ideate on creative solutions that hit the brief.
• Share your ideas via mood boards and CADs within collaborative environments.
• Work to make aforementioned solutions a reality through Illustrator documents, material exploration, and responsible costing.
• Design independently with check-ins with various team members as needed.
• Ideate on multiple design solutions and create technical specifications in the tech pack format for the Development Team to prepare for manufacturing.
• Direct workflow and manage workload with a proactive goal-oriented mindset with support from the manager and teammates.

Apparel Graphic Designer Qualifications:

• 5+ years in apparel graphic design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and experience working with 3D tools.
• Experience in the sportswear industry.
