Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager – Software Division will lead the strategic and tactical marketing efforts for the company’s software portfolio. This role exists to create, execute, and optimise marketing strategies that generate high-quality leads, increase brand visibility, and support sales growth. The Marketing Manager will act as the bridge between the sales and marketing teams, ensuring campaigns are targeted, measurable, and aligned with the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the software division in line with corporate growth targets.
- Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, events, and partner-led initiatives.
- Lead Generation & Sales Enablement
- Work closely with the Software Sales Manager to design campaigns that drive lead generation and improve conversion rates.
- Create sales enablement tools and collateral to support the sales team’s outreach efforts.
- Content Development & Brand Storytelling
- Oversee the production of engaging marketing content, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and presentations.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
- Product Launches & Go-to-Market Execution
- Manage end-to-end product launches, from market research and positioning to campaign roll-out.
- Market Insights & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance and ROI, recommending optimisation strategies.
- Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximise impact.
Required Skills & Experience
- Essential:
- Proven experience in B2B software marketing or SaaS marketing.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email automation, content marketing, and social media).
- Ability to develop data-driven marketing strategies and measure ROI.
- Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Desirable:
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
